Diane G. Traubert, M.S.Ed., LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor at Alliance Psychological Services. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia University. She earned her Masters of Education in Community Counseling at Duquesne University. Diane has sixteen years working in the counseling field. She began her career with an internship at Mercy Behavioral Health and later became fully employed there. She continues to work in community mental health while working part time at Alliance Psychological Services.
Diane provides therapy for adolescents (16-18) and adults of all ages. She assists persons experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, grief and loss. She uses an array of strategies including psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral therapy, client centered therapy, and interpersonal therapy. She also has special training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Training).
When not counseling, Diane enjoys her family and friends, weight training, cycling, and attending performing arts events. She enjoys being a part of the Alliance Psychological Services staff. She is grateful to them, her family, friends, and the persons whom she serves.
